MANHATTAN PLAZA
STATUS: IN CONSTRUCTION
This 45,000 square foot plaza sits at the base of a new residential tower and medical complex currently in construction. The plaza has two functions; being an attractive autocourt and an extension of the street scape.
The autocourt features a sculptural bronze screen wall that is as tall as 11-feet in certain locations. Abstracting the sinuous lines of Central Park the interplay between the sculptural wall, vegetation, and plaza space creates uniquely enticing visual experience to this otherwise shady parcel of land.
